Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later released.

Officers detained a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault near the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of individuals hurt by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was isolated and not considered an act of terror - caused delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
